You can use this page to propose a website for the "Website of the week". Just add 'Edit' this page and add the website at the end of the list, in "Your propositions". Here are a few criteria to be "Website of the week" :

  • it has to be a travelogue, no website like biketrip.org for example,
  • it's better if the trip is in progress or will start soon,
  • it has to be in english,
  • we'll appreciate if the website has been already added to biketrip.org's list.
  • If it has not been added yet, give us the name of the website and its URL, eventually a short description and the list of the countries traveled.
  • If it's already present, the name of the page is enough.

Note: Do not use this page to add a link to a website, you can use the special form for that.

[edit] Previous "Website of the Moment"

  • We Keep Going - We keep going. We are Joaquin and Bryan and we’ve decided to go for a bike ride.
  • Travelling Two - We are Andrew and Friedel Grant, two Canadians who started a trip around the world by bicycle from Montreal in September 2006. Our plans are fluid, going wherever the wind takes us.
  • What_a_Wonderful_World_Tour - Sonya Spry and Aaldrik Mulder cycling around the world. Follow our six year round-the-world trip, which started July 2006. Tons of links, tips, distances, photos and video for those seeking inspiration.
  • Going Slowly - Tyler Kellen and Tara Alan website about their bicycle trip around the World. Great design for the website, the trip starts April the 1st 2009 but the few journal logs are promising !
  • World Biking Africa - Eric and Amaya pedalled 55,000 kilometers and traversed 55 countries (37 in Africa) when they cycled from France to Cape Town via West Africa and then back to France via East Africa and the Middle East between 2006 and 2009.
  • Downtheroad.org - Tim and Cindie Travis 30 years bicycle trip around the World ! A must see !
  • A honeymoon to remember - From Kazakhstan to Czech Republic Erin and Sam Barkley have chosen to cycle for a year and half for their honeymoon! Great reports and amazing pictures !
